Phoenix has come out of her procedure.....NOT a happy little girl...not sure what happened this time around, but she was refusing to cooperate with the nurses. She didn't want them taking her to the bathroom, but I couldn't do it as she wasn't even in the recovery room yet. Then she refused, due to the pain in her chest, to lay back down...took me coming in to deal with her to calm her down. Then she refused to look at anyone else and pulled a blanket over her head and wouldn't communicate...this is the first time I've seen this kind of behavior from her towards anyone...Turns out they didn't give her any pain meds for when she woke up, so she woke up in agony after already a week of serious pain, and had to be moved right away to use the bathroom...then forced back into a bed to lay flat in which she hasn't been able to do in a week. I can kinda understand her crankiness - as did the nurses saying they'd be miserable too if they shoved tubes into their liver and intestines and didn't give them anything for pain. After an hour out she finally got morphine, and food, and is back to her old self :)
