Day 1 home.....could have been a bit better....
Feeny's pain in her chest from last night has not gone away. Went to home care this afternoon to get supplies and check things out. Unfortunately when we removed the bandaging she was bleeding from the site and tissue was bulging out of the site...her pain was immense, causing her to scream and cry. They think it's a hypo something...her body rejecting the drain from the looks of it, trying to push it out. If she cried...which was painful to expand her chest, the drain would push out a lot. We also Checked her shortly after all that, at home care, and her temperature was elevated to a low grade fever. Which has come down this evening, though she has been getting Tylenol for pain as well. She has barely eaten today, and had some stomach issues again this morning indicating bile build up in her tummy like last time. Home care could not get a hold of Edmonton of course...hopefully tomorrow someone returns our calls....
I'm hoping in a week things settle so she can finally return to school and myself back to work, before we go mid April to do this all over again...
