Sorry for the delayed update! We are in Edmonton once again.
Of course with my luck, they called me at 3pm on wednesday while I was working, saying I needed to bring her up ASAP to see the dr in the morning! So I somehow managed to get everything ready, organized, packed, replacement at work set up, and a place to stay (thanks to awesome friends) on such short notice and leave town, arriving in Edmonton at 10:30 pm. Thank god I actually have a reliable car and the fundraiser funds to do these short notice trips! Once again, I could never have done any of this without our amazing communities help!!
So yesterday we went in for Bloodworks, and then saw the Dr later at noon once the results were in. Everything looked good, so we then did another ultrasound, which also looked good. They were quite concerned over the bowel issues though...and wanted another sample...of course she wasn't allowed to eat that day and didn't go in the afternoon in time before the lab closed lol. But we got a sample today and brought it in. They figure they will get the result over the weekend, but the drs themselves won't until after the long weekend. They did a very uncomfortable and violating exam on the poor girl as well...she was very embarrassed and unhappy... They are hoping the test results will show something that can be treated...if it shows clear tho, we will have to return either next week on Friday or the Monday after to Edmonton do a scope... I'm hoping it's something they can just treat....
So for now we just wait until they get the results in and let us know what we need to do next. She's doing pretty good though, and is quite happy this time to be able to hang out with our friends son on his day off from school :)
